WHAT: Leaders of Voice of the Faithful will host a press conference
to provide context for the U.S. Catholic Bishops conference in Denver,
Colorado next week.

WHY: Voice of the Faithful Vice President Kristine Ward and Executive
Director Steve Krueger will discuss their reaction to the U.S. Catholic
Bishops closed meeting in Denver. Voice of the Faithful will call on
the Bishops to recommit to the spirit of the 2002 Charter, to make permanent
and independent the audits they committed to in 2002, and will call for
the greater accountability of Bishops for their covering up 50 years
of clergy sexual abuse.
