ACC Assembly – A Success

continued

Following his presentation, we had box lunches and energetic table dialogue around key questions provided by the American Catholic Council.  Table facilitators had a tight agenda to follow ending with a request to attendees to complete a survey for submission.  Results of the survey prophetically coincided with the times where a demand for church reform is extremely high at this time.

Having helped plan and organize this event, I cannot recommend highly enough for all VOTF members and affiliates to consider having one.  Catholics have a desperate need to dialogue with other like-minded Catholics about the state of our Church today and this offers everyone an opportunity to exchange ideas, concerns and solutions.  Whether you hold an assembly with 4-6 in your living room or a cast of hundreds at a conference center as we did, these are the grassroots opinions that will help form the content of the large gathering in Detroit, 2011 (Pentecost Weekend: June 10-12).  Please consider having such a gathering and utilizing the pre-developed agenda, dialogue questions and the survey found on www.americancatholiccouncil.org
