“Do This in Memory of Me.”
The Future of the Eucharist

at Fairfield University

Featured speakers are the noted liturgist, John Baldovin, S.J. whose most recent book is Reforming the Liturgy, and Ann Riggs of Rivier College, who will speak on Women and the Eucharist: Can the Body of Christ be Female?

In the afternoon two successive panels of young Catholics will engage in conversation with inclusion of the audience about the meaning of Eucharist in their lives and their sense of its future.

The day will conclude at 4 p.m. with “Healing the Wound in the Body of Christ: A Liturgy of Reconciliation.”

Everyone concerned about the future of the Eucharist in our changing Church is invited to attend. The registration fee of $35.00 includes a box lunch. Registration may be carried out online at www.votfbpt.org. Participants are encouraged to register in advance so that we may estimate the number of lunches needed.
