Phyllis Zagano, Ph.D.,
Internationally Acclaimed Catholic Scholar, will speak on
"Rome, Women, and the End of Catholicism"
Dr. Phyllis Zagano is an internationally acclaimed Catholic scholar who has lectured throughout the United States, and in Canada and Europe.
A graduate of Marymount College, Tarrytown, NY, she holds the Ph.D. from the SUNY at Stony Brook. She is the Catholic columnist for the nationally-syndicated Religion News Service, and a monthly columnist for the Irish Catholic. She is listed in a number of international biographies, including Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who of American Women, and Who’s Who in American Education.
She has taught at Fordham, Boston, and Yale Universities, and currently holds a research appointment at Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY.
She has just returned from Ireland, where she was Visiting Lecturer and Fulbright Fellow in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies at Mary Immaculate College, Limerick.
