Priests of Integrity continued

Father Cozzens uses his teaching and writing skills to challenge clergy and lay persons to live out their Baptismal missions as equal partners, not as tools of a dysfunctional and outmoded structure. He decries the secrecy and abuse of power that allow awful crimes like the sexual abuse of children to occur. Instead, he presents a model that is based on the life and teachings of Jesus, a model of compassion and openness.

Father Fowler uses his daily life as a priest to personally reach out to those in pain, to create new ways to make things better, and to bring about needed changes in the way our church and society operate. He publicly speaks out against dishonesty and injustice, no matter where he sees it and no matter what the personal cost to himself.

These two priests bring different gifts for the same purpose of making the church a better, kinder and more just communion of believers.
