Fourth Sunday in Lent, March 26, to Tuesday, March 28
Reflection
The presence of the man blind from birth was repugnant to the Pharisees. They were looking for someone to blame, not for a way to help him. Once the man came back from washing his eyes as Jesus directed, they were furious that he was cured.
The man had never seen before but he certainly must have heard of Jesus from his mother and had faith that Jesus would honor his mother’s request. Truly he had blind faith.
What blindness do you have in your life? Is it the plight of another or your own weakness? What light is available to you to move on from that blindness and do you make use of it? Lord that I might see.
