Walking to the Lord—O Lord, my God, in you I take refuge
On your Lenten journey, have you been talking with the Lord? Have you traveled in his light and heard His voice? Has your journey been painful or the path uncertain? Perhaps you are lost or in darkness and cannot find a way to the Lord. Take heart! Today the Psalmist entreats us to take refuge in God when we are hurting. Like a shield that goes before us, God will embrace and protect us if we ask for help. Every day is a good day to start that conversation with God. Like the lyrics of the classic Hank Williams song remind us, keep on “walking and a-talking with the Lord.”
