Holy Saturday
The drama has ended. The waiting begins. For Jesus did arise from the dead and has promised he will come again. We re-enact the first return, and live in hope and expectation for the second. The question we need to ask ourselves is not whether Jesus will return, but whether we will be ready. Lent has offered us an opportunity to try out, once again, a life of disciplined prayer and reflection. Will we continue, or will we forget our resolve in the glory and celebration of Easter morning?
